Lithographs, LEDs, electronics

A collection of 20+ mass-produced landscape prints by mid-twentieth century painter Robert Wood are retrofitted with blinking lights and battery packs. The lights take these populist prints the final step towards low-brow (now animated they join the ranks of the ever-flowing waterfalls of bar-room beer signs) while introducing a troubling reference to human activity more complex than the campfires and cottages Wood occasionally included in his views.
