Pasture, four sheep and electric fence

A flock of sheep pastured for six months at a historic mansion in Baltimore. The sheep point backwards to the self-sufficient European estates that were the models for America’s great houses, and also refer to Frederick Law Olmsted’s influence on Evergreen’s grounds. “Flock” depended on the cooperation of Baltimore’s Health Department, county extension agents, Evergreen House’s curators and grounds keepers, 4-H club participants and volunteers.
