Recent bumper crops of corn in the United States, along with recollections of the strangely-scaled representations on grade-school commodity maps, are the inspiration for a sculpture that is one part cheerful cornucopia and one part paranoiac preparation. The interior of the ersatz corn pile can be entered via a secret tunnel from the junk shop next door to the gallery.
